" Long term rental.... Looking for a property.....renovating a house....studying or working in Italy.....or just want to experiance the Italian life...????  Need a base to do that from ?Well I own a restored farmhouse (2+bedrooms, pool, garden, dramatic views) on the Umbrian/Tuscan border, in the hills overlooking Lago di Trasimeno. In the past it has been rented out to holidaymakers during the Summer months, and more recently, rented out on a long-term year long lease.Rather than have the house sitting empty I would prefer to have it occupied. The location is convenient for the main A1 autostrada (about 2hrs drive to Rome to the south, and the same to Florence to the north). Also the mainline Milan-Rome-Naples train station at Chiusi is less 25 muinutes drive away.If you are interested drop me a line and I can provide further details, photos and information

I have just seen your inquiry to my ad in ITALY. Not sure why, but I received no notification from the website of your reply.
I am sure this is too late to respond, but please let me know if indeed you still have any interest.
Again... my apologies for not responding sooner.

Always interested, so no worries. As a South African, I can only get a visa for 3 months at a time and the thought of living like a local to immerse myself in Italy which I just adore...would be a dream.so please do let me know if your property does stand empty at times or if you have created something else in the interim.Thank you :-)

Dear Yvonne,Thank you for the email. Yes it would be available for that sort of period as things stand at the moment. Not sure exactly what time of year you would be considering living your "Italian dream".Send me an email to my address, mtodd at cavalierbahamas dot comand I can forward you pictures and details to see if you are interested.Regards,MartinBy the way you too live in a beautiful country. My brother lived there for 25 yrs plus, before moving to Australia. He actually married a South African lady, by coincidence called Yvonne too. I visited there a couple of times when he was there.
