Visiting Dublin and surrundings

Good morning everybody!

I know well that we usually talk about Holidays in Italy here, but a friend of mine would love to go to Dublin by the end of August and asked me som advice about where to go and what to see and do. I a msure you can help me and him with that!

Hi Monica,

Dublin is a great place with lots to do and see. Just tell your friend to go onto Dublin Tourism site and he/she will find out whats on etc., It's also a great idea to go to Wicklow, which you can get there by bus or train for the day it's really quite beautiful. Powerscourt estate is a must and you just need to get a bus from the city centre No. 44 and it will bring you to walking distance.

Tell your friend that rainwear is a must.......(we are all losing the will to live with our "Irish Summer") and it is quite expensive to eat out compared to Italy, although it is getting a little cheaper.
