The sixth annual Rome Film Festival will take place this fall with legendary composer Ennio Morricone acting as head of the jury.

The musician is best known for his film scores, specifically the ones composed for Sergio Leone, whose Spaghetti Western genre is seeing a recent revival.

Italian dancer Roberto Bolle will also serve on the jury.

The jury members will select festival award recipients, choosing the winners of the Marc’Aurelio prize for Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress and Grand Jury Prize.

The 2011 festival will run from 27th of October to 4th of November, with Gianluigi Rondi serving as president.
