Italy Ranks Fourth for Flirty Women

A recent study has ranked Italy as the fourth flirtiest country in the world.

The research was performed by Badoo- an international networking site. The company analyzed 90 million online interactions between men and women in different countries. After examining how many women were first to initiate contact with men, the researchers ranked the biggest flirts.

They found that ladies in Spain were not shy about making the first move, landing the country in the number one spot. Somewhat surprisingly, Poland came in as the second flirtiest place on earth, followed by the Dominican Republic and then Italy. Italian ladies were found to be nearly twice as flirty as their American counterparts. Canada was only English-speaking country to make the top 10.

Italian men may have the reputation for suave pickup lines, but this particular study was based on female flirts. The study suggests that Italian women are willing to make the first approach so don’t be surprised to hear “ciao, bello!” on the street.
