Gastronomes have a new reason to visit the Umbrian town of Torgiano: Foodie Academy.

Already home to the Wine Museum and the Olive Oil Museum, the ancient town is offering a Food and Art Italian Experience.

Founded by the International School of Italian Cuisine, the academy offers seminars and food labs. The foodie professors are celebrated chefs and sommeliers that will take students through a tour of Umbria’s DOC products.

The edible lesson plans are an opportunity for food and wine aficionados to skip guided tours and head straight for the gourmet.
