George Clooney does not wear jean shorts, and his superior fashion choices have been officially recognized in a court of law.

The American actor has won an Italian case against a fashion line that falsely claimed to be designed by George himself.

The three Italian fraudsters behind “GC Exclusive” went to great lengths to make it appear that the actor was involved in the label. In an attempt to prove they knew Clooney personally, the group took a picture together and photoshopped his head onto another friend’s body.

At his Milan testimony hearing, Clooney told the court that the photos had been edited to resemble his likeness.

"I don't smoke and I don't wear that watch...I also don't wear long jean shorts."

The court has sided with Clooney and sentenced the three fraudulent designers to jail.

GC Exclusive director Vincenzo Cannalire was sentenced to one year and 10 months in jail. The two other defendants, Vanja Goffi and Francesco Galdelli, were each sentenced to over three years behind bars for their respective roles.
