Institute for Cultural Diplomacy Holds Conference To Promote Italian-German Youth Relations

The Institute for Cultural Diplomacy (ICD) is holding a conference ‘Italy Meets Germany: A Forum for Young Leaders’. The conference takes place in Berlin, Germany on 23 to 27 September 2013. It covers the topic ‘Common Strategies and Bilateral Relations in the New Era of Diplomacy’. "Italy meets Germany: A Forum for Young Leaders" (IMG) is a network of students and young professionals who have an interest in exploring and supporting Italian-German relations. The programme consists of speeches, panel discussions and seminars held by leading figures and experts from the fields of politics, economics, diplomacy, academia, civil society, and the private sector from around the world. In addition to the academic components, participants take part in a range of social and cultural activities that will allow them to experience Berlin’s cultural landscape. The ICD is an international, non-profit and non-governmental organisation, headquartered in Berlin. The goal of the ICD is to promote global peace and stability through strengthening and supporting intercultural relations at all levels. Over the past decade, the ICD has grown to become one of the Europe’s largest independent cultural-exchange organisations, whose programmes facilitate interaction between individuals of all backgrounds from across the world.
