Sardinia and Milan are about as far apart as you can get in terms of holiday destinations in Italy. But they both offer some amazing opportunities as two of our featured articles this week illustrate.
Emily Marcason shares her story of falling in love with Sardinia. We think there can't be praise greater that saying "any picture of La Maddalena on the Internet pales in comparison to its actual beauty".
Pierangela Zandanel, instead, takes us on a very different journey and in the opposite direction to everyone else this summer. As she says "Nobody wants to stay at home during summertime, let alone in a city like Milan". Yet, in her article "Milan: Summer and the City", she makes a very convincing argument about why it is worth a visit at such as unlikely time.
