Amici di Italy Magazine,
It's summer, the time to start organising our great escape from daily routine, work and traffic has finally arrived. Destination? Italy, of course!
Many of us would like to be able to visit Italy's great cities during the spring or the autumn, when the weather is pleasant, not too hot nor too cold, locations are not as crowded as in July or August, and Italians are still at work. But what if those are the only months of the year you can take time off to come to Florence, Rome, Venice, Naples.....
This week do not miss our "Florence: Summer and the City" feature, to find out how to make the best of your summer stay in the Tuscan Capital.
For a special picnic in the shade of a wonderful Florentine garden, visit the Bardini Gardens, just a few hundred metres from the back gate of the Boboli Gardens. When you reach the Belvedere, you can have a coffee or a gelato at a pleasant café and enjoy the stunning panorama over the city.
And to get you into the right Florentine atmosphere, our Italy's Treasure feature was dedicated to Dante Alighieri, The Supreme Poet.
A presto!
