This week, John Bensalhia provided an overview of some of the top comic acting and entertainment talent to have graced Italy over the last 100 years. We have also included some videos of their performances to offer you the chance of a good Italian inspired laugh, 'Risate all'Italiana'.

And among the Italian stars who made it abroad, we cannot forget Topo Gigio who has just been signed on by Hollywood. Silvia Donati looked at the career of this incredible all-Italian mouse puppet who came to international prominence in the 1960s.

For our Meet the Author series, we met writer Catherine Carabine who explained how she was inspired by her love of all things Italian to write her debut novel 'A Chestnut Barn in Tuscany'. Catherine also send us one of her short stories set in Orvieto for Italy Magazine's readers, entitled 'Stress? What stress?'.

The Italian Revenue have now formally confirmed that as IMU is viewed as a substitute for the income tax on the "rendita catastale", you are no longer required to make an annual tax return.
