Ciao a tutti,

Al Bano is a legend in Italy, a national institution. He first made his mark on the Italian music scene in 1966 and has been going strong ever since. Al Bano is also a great lover of his home region - Puglia where he has built the "Tenute Carisi" - a wonderful estate in Salento that is also a hotel. That is why we are thrilled to have an interview with him, where he talks about Puglia, his music and his estate.

Tuscany is full of amazing medieval towns and Volterra is certainly one of the more famous ones. In this article, Pierangela Zandanel introduces us to the town and a great event called Volterra1398 - that takes us back to those medieval days.

We all know about Slow Food - the movement that started in Italy and has now conquered the world preaching appreciation for genuine, local food as well as taking the appropriate time to enjoy it. The organization is now extending into other fields with its latest campaign on "Slow Medicine". Read the article to find out all about it.

See you next week (but with no rush!),

A presto!
