Ciao a tutti,
May had an uncertain start in Italy, with most of the country under rain - but hopefully this was just s temporary blip on the way to a great summer.
We have n excellent line-up of articles for you, starting with a follow-up on one of our most popular articles on tracing your Italian Ancestry. Pat interviewed Peter Farina who, after managing to discover his own long-lost Italian relative, is helping others do the same.
Of course, digging in your past can reveal all sorts of things. Who knows, maybe if your ancestors hail from Cocullo in Abruzzo they used to be snake charmers taking part in the amazing processions that still takes place today.
As ever, check out our language articles to keep honing your Italian skills so that when the moment comes (snake charmers or not) you will be able to more freely converse with Italian relatives, friends or... as has happened to many of us "la vosta dolce metà" (your better half). Just make sure you don't confuse your verbs - Pat comes to the rescue once more with some helpful tips.
A presto!
