In line with winter average temperatures, at the moment "fa freddo!", so we decided it was time to learn the basic Italian weather expressions to be able to discuss about it with Italian friends or ask for information when you travel around the country.

This week Julie Burns talked to Gianni Golfera, Italy's well-known 'memory man' and best-selling self-help author. His unique imaging technique - 'the Golfera Method'- is proving beneficial cross-sector: from exam students to blind opera star Andrea Bocelli. Golfera is also working with doctors at the University of Pisa to further research into conditions such as Alzheimer's and dyslexia. Gianni has recently written an e-book in English, More Memory, and will be soon staging a series of memory seminars in London.
