HI, MY NAME IS PAUL AND I HAVE A SMALL HOUSE NEAR BAGNI DI LUCCA. I WOULD APPRECIATE SOME ADVICE ON WHERE I CAN RENT SOME LARGE GAS BOTTLES TO RUN A CENTRAL HEATING BOILER. ALSO WHERE I MAY BUY SOME ITALIAN STYLE RADIATORS AT REASONABLE PRICES, MANY THANKS.

Hi Paul, there is a place at Borgo a Mozzano http://www.paginegialle.it/borgo-a-mozzano-lu/gpl/guidi-rivendita-gas-kerosene and another one at Fornoli, but I cannot remember the name. We changed to town gas as soon as we could. Gas bottles are very expensive and they do not last long. At the moment, there is a special offer from the gas company to have it connected at a fraction of the price we paid seven years ago. As for radiators, major hardware and DIY shops have them.

Hi Gala,thank you for your response to my enquiry. Unfortunately we live in a small village (Pieve di Monti di Villa) where town gas is not yet available. I'll look around for some hardware stores re the radiators.RegardsPaul
