My grandparents were both born in Italy

My grandparents were both born in Italy in the 1880s. They were naturalized in 1945, and my mother was born in 1916 in the US. I believe I am elegible to apply for Italian citizenship? I understand I need their birth certificates, marriage licenses and death certificates? Is this correct?thanks
