We are about to renovate a house in Umbria and will need all new internal doors and external doors and windows.  The price that we have been quoted for internal doors is Euro 480 each, this is for a solid wood rustic door; I have searched various sites and the price of doors in Italy does seem to be high, over Euro 300 for a plain solid, off-the-peg door.  There are UK companies selling solid oak cottage style doors for around £160.  A friend suggested trying to source the doors in Slovenia; I have seen threads recommending France as a source as well.Any ideas out there?Phil
