Have you asked your neighbours if they know/use a local decorator?

We had an English painter from Loreto Aprutino paint the inside of our apartment and vanish the shutters and we were very pleased with the work. Loreto's probably about 2 hours from you though so I don't know if he'd travel that far. If you want his details you can PM me.Good luck with finding someone anyway.
