Ryanair No-Limit Baggage Trial

03/29/2010 - 10:34

Hi all, Just returned from Rimini this weekend (by the way they we're checking weight and dimensions on all hand luggage). Anyway, I read in the Ryanair on board magazine that they will be testing a new idea, whereby there will be no weight limit for hold luggage - just as long as you can carry it to the airport. The idea will involve you collecting the luggage from the tarmac at the arrival airport - guess after they've thrown it out of the hold without the use of a ramp. It mentioned it will trial this idea on a couple of airports before the end of this year. Sounds a good idea in principle - personally I hope for Rimini and/or Ancona. Anyone who knows more about it - please let us know.   Ciao Alan
