Turtles

Just wondering if anyone has seen turtles while they have been in Italy. If so, in which area did they see them and was it at a wildlife park, or somewhere more like in their natural habitat.

We know that there was a large turtle seen in in Sapri in 2008 as we saw a picture of it. We have never seen one though but we have seen several dolphins in the area, the last ones near you, just off the headland near Scario.

Thanks Alan H for the info. Think I can remember reading about this when it was orginally posted, but I had forgotten it was on the Italy Mag site. Michael M - I shall keep an eye out next time I am in Sapri. Incidentally did you know that the dolphin is the mascot of Policastro?
