Aerosol and flying

Does anyone know whether I can fly with can of spray paint (aerosol) in checked in bag.  Have looked at Ryanair site and list of banned substances/items but am still confused.  Did learn things I did not know though, like not supposed to put medication including including tablets, glasses and keys in hold.....often have done but never had a problem....

Don't think paint is 'officially' allowed (though we have put base paint tints in our luggage in the past and got away with it but may have been a bit naughty) and not sure aerosols great in non pressurised environments but cant remember ever being told not to take hairspray or anti perspirant. Hmmm Best not probs.. Am

I'm sure Gala is right.  With regard to aerosols in general, now you are supposed to put spray perfume, hairspray, etc., in hold whereas before the Glasgow Airport incident they were supposed to go in your hand baggage.  With regard to medication, I was once told to put spare ventolin asthma spray in hold luggage but other medicines should be in hand luggage.
