How south is south? Pretty much year round, there are at least three small furnished places in my village, Valle San Giovanni, available for about 500-600 euros/month. If interested just go to my webiste for the town and you will find contact information. One thing I would be concerned about in the winter is how the place will be heated and who is responsibile for this cost.
