Scaffolding

Help!!!! We've got the premssions to renew our roof, we got the details of a reputable scaffolding company from the mayor, and works starts tomorrow.... We have a registered builder doing the work, but, the scaffolding sticks out into the road, its only single track. We've got a warning triangles, lots of red and white tape, flag etc. so there's lots of notice. Should we have got some sort of additional permission? There were photos of the house that went in with the planning application, but something niggling in the back of my mind! Ed

Some comunes want money if the scaffolding is on 'their' property. You rent the space in effect. But, I reckon, if you have done everything by the book and have permissions, you should be ok....

Thanks to you both Well work started this morning, and after my initial panic yesterday i'm sure things wil be fine. I like the fairy lights idea, we bought some rope lights at christmas, they would look pretty spectacular. I think we'll try it tonight!! Ed
