Hi,Yes, IMU is still around everyone who owns a house but is not resident in that house has to pay IMU.If you are resident in that house, you do not have to pay IMU.Furthermore, from June 2014 there is another tax called TASI, which is very similar to Council tax in the UK.TASI can be paid with the F24 form.Ciao!
