I may be looking for a needle in a haystack, but when my wife and I were in Provence a couple of times we took a cooking class. But these were very intimate settings where we literally went to the chef’s home and cooked a Provencal meal in their kitchen with them and then ate it when we were done. There were only 4 people in each “class”. We felt like guests in their homes. We will be in Piemonte (near Asti) for several weeks this fall and would love to find a similar intimate experience there.  Most of what I am finding appear to be in more restaurant kinds of settlings with larger minimum class sizes. While I’m sure those would be fun as well, that’s not exactly what we are looking for. Anyone have any suggestions?
