given that it's advisable to have an electrician mount these they usually supply them too. all our bathrooms have quite large ones as there are no windows in the bathrooms they suck into tubes which have vents at roof level.

Hi Simon & Jo, how are you and Bertie?   We got our extractor fans from Castorama - S.P. 259 Val Vibrata, 64010 Colonella (just off A14 towards Pescara).  They don't always have them unfortunatley - required a few visits.  Vaguely recall seeing them in Brico Io at one point, so might be worth checking there too (Grottammare store).

I too was a fan of Castorama. I got all sorts of things there which were difficult to find anywhere else, but when I tried to go there the other day, it had gone! Disappeared! There was a Brico in its place but none of the odd things that I could find in Castorama.

We're well and have now got Berie a "little" friend, Freya. Sa is just comng up to 6 months and is about the same height as Bertie ... oh dear! She's going in for the snip in 10 days time, so no pups. Hope your two are well.   Ciao, S&J

So how did you come by Freya?  Another rescue?  We acquired another puppy back in June so now have 3 large dogs.  She was another abandoned pup, though much older than our "Sully" boys when they were dumped.  We think Flynn is about 8 months old now and we too have to get her spayed.  Vet says to do it now, others have advised us to wait until she has passed one season to ensure sexual maturity and thus prevent hormonal associated problems later.  All very confusing but I think we are going to go with vets advice as the thought of trying to keep Harry and Flynn apart for 2-3 weeks is a little daunting.  Another 6 or 7 puppies is even more daunting.  We have had friends try and convince us to take two other strays in the last few weeks.  I hate this time of year - so many dogs on the streets.  If I ever come into a lot of money then we will become an animal shelter :-) Glad you are all ok, we are too. bye for now.  K & J

Hi there, I am sure you are well sorted by now but I will be coming over to Lemarche in October. If you want anything brought over I would be happy to oblige for petrol money.  I am hoping to do some shopping runs from Tesco/Waitrose  for people where they buy on line and deliver to me in Devizes  and I will drop at their homes. I also have a good local butcher for English sausages and bacon and are very close to Wadworth brewere for good british beers.   Re bathroom fans or any similar try Screwfix.com.  i WILL ACTUALLY BRING OVER ANYTHING........ Thanks Rick
