Those with avatars just all got a little green person - a bit of extra motivation to get your own personalised avatar! No, not really - just a way to keep everything spaced out neatly

I was told by some people that my previous avatar in the Forum was not very nice. It is Galla Placidia's portrait, so I opted for the medallions. I did not want to put the mausoleum, but it has to have some link with the name. What do you think? I can change it....

...of course the 'portrait' offered a strong connection to your nick...but also medallions look relevant keeping a link to GP...without being a mausoleum!!

Yes, Bill, it is a mosaic in the mausoleum. Galla Placidia and her 2 children, but it is too large, so I was only having her portrait. I will wait and see. I can always change it. Thank you Angelo for your opinion.

thanks tuscanhills .... I understand now.. and there was me thinking they were a reward for putting up avatar but instead they are a punishment for not having one ...heehee .... I now see which ittle green men everyone is talking about - they look like mechanics or umpires........is my avatar too arty farty? 'tis a picy of an old cart wheel on my roof terrace .....
