There are a number of great restaurtants in Sulmona and around. One of our favourites in Cantini Di Biffi just off Corso Ovidio near to the Annunziata which never fails to impress. You can sit back and he'll bring out course after course of whatever is "on" that night - all cooked by Mamma in the kitchen. Absolutely delightful. Fabulous wines too. And no I've no involvement in the place!There's reputed to be a Michelen star level restaurant in nearby Pacentro but we haven't made it there yetnor sussed out what it's called.
