I work in the wedding business here in Italy so if anyone needs advice, I'm happy to help where I can!

I didn't say because I didn't want to look like I was advertising. Basically, when I see nice people lose out simply because they didn't have enough/the right info I don't think it's fair, hence my post! I work with a photography studio and on a freelance basis I work with a couple of agencies as a planner/interpreter, so I'm really involved in different aspects of a wedding. Haven't divorced anyone yet though. Mind you an American couple did once ask me (about 25 mins after being married) if they would have to come back to Italy to get divorced...so maybe! :)

The striking thing to me about weddings in Italy must be the expenses involved. I feel for the poor dears and their parents the hair gel bill alone must be enormous.

hi carmen, my girlfriend and i are looking into getting married in the maremma region, any help would be appreciated regarding the laws and problems we might encounter, we are both divorced, but have been for a while, and they would only be us 2 and our son, we are both English but i have a codice fiscale, not sure if that would make it any easier, any feed back would be a great help. thanks Wayne.
