‘Arrive as a guest, leave as a friend’
Come and visit Italy in the cooler winter months from October to March. Let us plan a special itinerary which allows you a slower pace of travel, visiting smaller cities and places of interest free from the throngs of tourists. Select a combination from the various half and full day tours to create your own tour or ask us for alternative suggestions relating to your own areas of personal interest.
We see our role as facilitating a special break for you to enjoy and explore places of your choice and interest. We work with either the solo traveller or small groups of no more than 4 people, staying for a minimum of 3 nights/4 days.
Basing yourself at our welcoming Cherry House B&B www.cherryhouseintaly.com in the town of Polinago, an hour outside the elegant, intimate city of Modena, set the pace yourself. If you prefer to relax; go for walks while you explore the local area; have a coffee or vin brulè at bar Bice with the locals; learn to cook local dishes; indulge in trying the regional cuisine and wines; visit a Balsameria and Caseficio to see how the world famous Parmigiano Reggiano is made and generally take the time ‘to be’ this is the place for you.
Alternatively, we can also include travel a little further afield to visit, for example, the lovely cities of Bologna, Mantova, Verona, Ravenna and Ferrara or indulge in a train trip to Venice or Rome.
All tours are fully inclusive and accompanied by Winnifred, who speaks fluent Italian and delights in showing unusual and special places according to your interests.
