Artist Transforms Berlusconi's Head into a Toilet

The head of former Italy's prime minister Silvio Berlusconi has been transformed into a toilet; the head of the former leader of Lega Nord party Umberto Bossi has become a bidet. It is the provocative installation of artist Radic Majakausas, which he called, "The Montecitorio Restrooms" (Montecitorio is the seat of the Italian Chamber of Deputies in Rome).

The original piece is exhibited at Turin's Paratissima contemporary art fair and is expected to spark heated discussions, as it happened in the past with other works by the same artist, who is known for his provocative art that uses parody, satire, the bizarre and grotesque to harshly criticize politics.

On Berlusconi toilet cover, the line "mi consenta" is reproduced, mocking Berlusconi's recurring phrase in his conversations and debates: it means, "allow me to [speak]".

What do you think of the original installation?
