On July 25, the incredibly talented Italian dancer Roberto Bolle will be performing with the American Ballet Theatre in the spectacular setting of Caracalla’s Baths at night.
The show, “Roberto Bolle and Friends,” is part of the Opera di Roma summer event, an annual festival featuring open-air opera, ballet and music.
Bolle has been principal dancer with New York’s American Ballet Theatre since 2007. With the internationally renowned dancers from ABT, he will be performing a series of songs and choreographies from the repertoire of the U.S.-based dance company.
The 39-year-old from Piedmont, who is also étoile at La Scala Theater, is the one dancer who is capable of bringing ballet to large crowds.
