Italian singing nun Suor Cristina has become an Internet star after her performance on Italy’s The Voice. The video of her singing Alicia Key’s “No One” has been viewed more than 3 million times on YouTube and national and international media wrote about her audition on the Italian talent show.
So, inspired by Suor Cristina’s voice, we decided our Word of the Week would be VOCE, voice.
If you want to say that Suor Cristina has a beautiful voice, you would say she has una bellissima voce or una splendida voce.
