can anybody assist me? we are planning to move to southern Italy in the near future and have a question about prescription charges. At present both my wife and i get free medicaton due to cronic conditions, mine diabetes wife's thyroid, can we still obtain frree medication in Italy as over here?

My upstairs neighbour in a condominio is claiming that a wall opened up by a previous owner has resulted in damage to his apartment. The administrator (a lawyer) wrote to me: "Dato che NON CI SONO DUBBI sul fatto che l'apertura sia abusiva . . . .".

New to the forum, have just finished buying this gem in Chieti in a lovely small village. Would love to hear any comments or suggestions or any experience anyone has in doing up townhouses. There's an old bread oven in the kitchen there - the house dates back to 1870, and I'm really in two minds whether to keep the bread oven as a feature or demolish it for space.

In total I have over 100 sq m, so space isn't a big issue. Please let me know and I'll go with the majority of opinions!
