Good fences for good neighbours

A recent job prompts this post. We have just transported a gate to Le Marche for a client, which he purchased from the company listed below. Apparently the discount for items taken overseas was persuasive enough to make it a bargain, even with our transport fee on top. Might be of use for anyone having problems getting gates, fencing, summerhouses and such. The Ashford, Kent location makes our charge reasonable as it's on the way to the ferry: http://www.jacksons-fencing.co.uk/ Another good source would be Forest Products (http://www.forest-products.co.uk/) in Gloucestershire. This is ace for transport cheapness because the location is not far from one of the places we visit frequently when in the UK. Similarly Forest Fencing, now known simply as Forest. This is the original seller/maker of Larchlap fencing and is now based at Hartlebury, Worcs. This is even closer to our frequently-visited spot. Until a couple of years back it was based at Stanford Court, which was just 3 miles away. Ho hum. Forest is at: http://www.forestgarden.co.uk I'll put all this on the Philip White Freight website blog, but you heard it here first. And many thanks to our client for the lateral thinking. And indeed for our first Fanta bottle of home-made vino d'uva. Which is very, very good indeed, thanks. Lots of fruit and a great dry bite. Cin cin!!
