The process of learning a language often begins with the learning of singular vocabulary: the memorization of individual words strung together to kick-start making oneself understood in another language, and the Italian language is no different. This is why we, at Italy Magazine, have created this roundup of 54 Italian words, one for each week of the year, plus 2, in order to give you a fun, easy window into speaking Italiano. 

With this eBook: each week, you'll be able to learn a new Italian word, together with a phrase translated in both English and Italian. Now you can also learn how to pronounce the sentences in Italian by clicking the microphone icon next to the Italian phrase. One suggestion we recommend is to transfer these words and phrases to handwritten flash-cards for additional memory-inducing exercises.
