Ancient palazzo in the heart of the medieval town of Trevi. Very tastefully and lavishly refurbished historic palazzo (ca. 400 m²) on 4 levels, divided into 4 suites and a room with bathroom, which are however all connected and offer many possibilities of use. Whether as a spacious townhouse for a family, as a Boutique B & B or Boutique Hotel. The particularity of this palazzo is enhanced by its wonderful location right next to the cathedral and just a few steps from the main square. In addition, the property has a private courtyard with age old olive tree! Definitely worth mentioning is that almost every room is very bright and some offer views over the roofs, the surrounding landscape or of the cathedral and its garden. The complete renovation leaves nothing to be desired and although many of the original details have been preserved and restored such as cross-vaulted or beamed ceilings, terracotta floors and fireplaces, the building has been adapted to current standards, with a completely new roof, good insulation, new plumbing and wiring, and insulated windows. The Palazzo is tastefully furnished and decorated and most of the furniture can be included in the sale, if of interest.

An interior staircase connects all 4 floors. There are two entrances, one on the lower level which is romantically accessed by a small side street and thus completely autonomous with the possibility to close off from the rest of the Palazzo. It contains a lovely suite with a bedroom, a living room with small kitchenette and a bathroom. In addition, there is a very beautiful room, which can be set up as a wine cellar, tavern or SPA. This area can also be reached via the internal staircase. Due to the hillside position you reach the ground floor through the main entrance which leads into an impressive reception room with high cross-vaulted ceilings. From there you reach the central staircase which connects all floors as well as the charming inner courtyard, a bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The suite on this level is composed of a large eat-in kitchen with fireplace and its own spiral staircase leading to a gallery above with a bedroom and a bathroom. On this floor, which can also be reached through the central internal staircase, there is a second suite, which consists of a living room with fireplace, a kitchen with fireplace, a bright bedroom and a bathroom. On the second (top) floor there is a large living room with kitchen corner and fireplace, a bedroom and a bathroom. This is certainly the brightest of the apartments and offering panoramic views over the rooftops of Trevi and the surrounding countryside.

Trevi, which has all amenities, is the most friendly mediaeval town from where you can easily reach all the Umbrian hilltop towns and the whole of central Italy. A large shopping centre is a 10 minutes’ drive away. The closest large town is Foligno (10 kms away) with great clothes shops. Local restaurants serve exceptionally good traditional fare, including the outstanding olive oil, truffles, celery and wild boar. The wines from Montefalco are highly prized and the famous Sagrantino is unique to the region. There are great walks in the mountains behind Trevi and through the neighbouring national park in the Valnerina, where rafting is also on offer.
