Geographic position Borgo tra i Vigneti is in a fantastic, mainly south-facing location, at the top of a hill in one of Tuscany’s most popular areas. Description of buildings The village comprises one main house with four houses surrounding it, measuring around 1600 sq.m in total, all currently being used for a tourist accommodation business and split into 20 apartments plus several communal areas. At the time, this aristocratic family made an effort to reclaim and restore marshland for the building of small farms and villages in strategic locations, with the aim of bartering the transfer of these reclaimed lands. Borgo tra i Vigneti was among these villages, and 4 or 5 families would have lived there, farming and raising livestock. Signs of this historic activity are still visible in the village today. Over the centuries, the houses have been reworked and restored many times, using high-quality materials and retaining their historic and architectural features. External areas The village includes around 1 hectare of land (which includes the foundations of the buildings) which is used as grounds and garden, with a swimming pool and large car park.
