The discretion and relaxation of the naturalistic landscape of Ciociaro, lead us to know and offer for sale an ideal solution of country house with land, located in Casalvieri, Iacovelli.
From the entrance from the road, a small beaten road surrounded by areas giarino bring us to the foot of the structure composed of ground floor consisting of 5 rooms used mainly as living area while not disdaining an additional space for two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Exceptional an additional access point that leads to a two bedroom apartment with access to a second floor created to remain an opportunity to divide or reconnected to the rest of the house with the demolition of a plasterboard wall.
The contact with an abandoned ruin in the immediate vicinity of the house makes the access to the basement including garage and cellar, very nice with views in stone that give the whole appearance of a small village. This ruin also boasts an excellent solidity, a terrace and a possibility of separate sale but that would make it even more gorgeous and unique.
Where the structure needs finishing touches, we will provide you with all kinds of advice, from the most modern to the most rustic and ancient, our office will support you in the possible modernization of the building to allow you to have an opportunity to have contact with the green of 25000 of land and the security of a semi-modern structure. A perfect fusion that will open your eyes and make you feel at home right away.
CASALVIERI AND CIOCIARIA
At the entrance of the wild gorges of the Melfa river, in the eastern side of the Val di Comino, we meet this quiet centre whose name derives from the ancient diction of "Domus Olivieri". The historical centre, today little inhabited, consists of buildings finely decorated with stone windows and portals, such as the eighteenth-century Palazzo Cellitto and lives intense moments during the celebrations of the Patron Saint on the last Sunday of May. To visit the church of SS. Giovanni Battista and Evangelista, whose baroque facade is enriched by two niches with statues: inside it stands out "L'Assunta", painted by Cavalier d' Arpino, and the sacristy with fine wooden sculptures. Very elegant is the 17th century church of S. Maria delle Rose, in the hamlet of Roselli.
La Ciociaria is easily reachable from both Rome and Naples and their respective airports. A day of shopping in Rome is a common pastime, while an even shorter journey takes you to the enchanting beaches south of Rome. Alternatively, drive east, and the mountains of the Abruzzo National Park await you with horse trekking in the magnificent beech forests, and sparkling mountain lakes and rivers where you can bathe in the summer heat. And at the other end of the temperature, even though Arpino itself is temperate, less than an hour's drive away you will reach the winter ski slopes.
Often neglected, both by tourists and foreigners in search of an Italian home, in favour of the most advertised regions of Tuscany and Umbria, Ciociaria remains largely an unspoilt pearl with beautiful landscapes and medieval villages on top of the hills. A house or second home in Ciociaria, in the hilly towns of Arpino, Veroli, Alatri or in the gentle countryside surrounding them, will offer you an environment where over two thousand years of history combine with an idyllic Italian rural lifestyle, where you can still discover the "real" Italy and take time off from the crowded crowds of big tourist cities, even though it is less than ninety minutes away from the centre of Rome or one of Rome's two airports.
