Desenzano, a wonderful settlement on the south coast of Lake Garda. Among the oldest villages where history has left innumerable signs, it was founded at the time by ancient Rome and over the course of the centuries it passed under the control of the republic of Venice, the Napoleonic empire and the Austrian one and so on, away to be today that watercolor drawn on the lake.
The geographical position makes it and has made it an important junction of the main roads between the east and west of Italy. In fact, we find the exit of the A4 motorway, it is a mandatory stop on the fast train line and is halfway between Verona and Brescia and it is the beginning of the important eastern Gardesana road that takes us up to Salò or beyond towards the province of Trento.
