In the enchanting setting of the Langhe wine hills, with stunning vistas onto the town of Dogliani and the crescent of the Alps with the pinnacle of the Monviso at its center, a substantial country house in a private location enclosed by a 7.8-hectare (over 19 acre) parcel of land.

The house dates back to the late 1800’s and has been successively remodeled and developed. It exhibits an array of traditional features typical of a Langhe farmhouse including traditional materials used in rural buildings such as cotto floors, stone walls, wooden beams, vaulted brick ceilings.

The house spreads over two floors, is fitted with an elevator and divided into three self-contained units with the possibility of them being reconnected. The currently featured two- and three-bedroom apartments have been renovated in 2005, 2015 and 2018 respectively.

Close to the house there is a natural pool and lawns with matures trees which separate the recreational outdoor area from the agricultural section which contains, almost as a matter of course given the property’s location, a nice one-hectare Dogliani DOCG vineyard.

No urgent repairs or maintenance are necessary. The heating is in part with LPG, in part with pellets.

Inspired by local architectural traditions and guided by exquisite taste, the project has been carried out over an extended period of time but always with respect for the unique character of the home and its environment. For those who are not sufficiently familiar with the geography of the region we would like to point out that the property’s location is only 5 miles (8 kms) from the world-famous Barolo wine area, less than 30 miles from the ski slopes of the Maritime Alps and 45 miles from the beaches of the Italian Riviera.
