Maratea train station is a three minute drive from the property.
By car from Rome takes approx 4 hrs 30 mins. Distance 420 Kms. Motorway until last 20 Kms.
The nearest supermarket is only ½ Km away. Baker’s and hairdresser’s are around 200 metres up the road, where most mornings you can buy locally grown fruit and veg from a mobile stall.
The town, which is around 1 Km from the villa has the usual shopping ameneties, plus shops selling locally made and produced products.
Maratea harbour is also about 1Km away in the opposite direction.
Fijfteen kilometers south on the coast road takes you to Praia al Mare. A slightly larger town with good shopping facilities. To the north the town of Sapri is about the same distance away. Another slightly larger seaside town with a wide promenade and beach, shops and restaurants. Inland too you will find many charming hill-top towns to explore.
Condition
The property is used by the family as a second home during the summer months. It is in need of substantial renovation. A local builder has estimated the cost of renovation at around € 500,000.

Location
