Anyone checked in online lately with Ryanair?Just checked in for our flights next week and only got tickets for outward journey!!Can't find anywhere on the site that helps and every time I try to check in the other direction a message pops up sayi
Why is it that we have a use only once password? When I am using my computer at work I can log on fine but am unable to access the community on my computer at home.
I wonder how long it will be before they start charging us for using the card too? They never seem to miss a trick although I have always found them cheap - until this year and the flights seem to have rocketed
I actually love Ryanair but on this occasion I searched for a solution on their 'Manage my Booking' section and even sent an email for details on 'how to check in online' but nowhere could I find it written down that we had to print off boarding tickets separately. I imagined, as has happened in the past, that they would automatically print off all together when I booked in. Silly me! But all sorted now so I can relax and look forward to two week in my favourite spot - Primaore!!!!
Just rung Ryanair - approx 3 mins on the phone so that was a surprise and the solution is? You were right Andiamo and Ram, I have to check in again less than 15 days before the flight back to get the return tickets - good job I'm not going for three week or more!!! Why Ryanair have changed the checking in procedure is beyond me but then again, 'ours is not to reason why...........? Thanks for all your replies anyway and I wonder how much additional revenue Ryanair are getting for all those like me who panicked and rang them up?
Thanks for all your advice, makes interesting reading and not as worrying either. When in Majorca a few year ago they wanted to charge me 79 euro for a ventolin inhaler!! Glad I chose Italy to live and not Majorca or the USA
I have found all this very interesting reading. As one who is hoping to make the big move next year I have been worried about healthcare and costs. Like a lot of women, I fall in the 'phasing in to 65' category and will have to wait till I am sixty two and a half to get my government pension although my private company pension will kick in when I am 60. If we move next June I will be 60 and my husband will be 65 so I presume he will be ok as far as healthcare is concerned but I will have to stay young and fit for another five years - which shouldn't be too difficult in Italy surely? My main worry is the cost of inhalers. Being asthmatic I use them all the time and in England I can get two at a time on prescription but I think they are quite expensive in Italy. Would I need to take out some private healthcare to cover the costs? Many thanks Lorraine
The Open University do an Italian language course at Leeds Met so if you contact them via their website they may be able to help. My tutor was Italian and lives in Armley so you should be able to find someone to help or advise. Good Luck!
I always book my car with Hertz via Ryanair as the prices are a lot cheaper. With cheap Ryanair flights added to cheaper car hire we can enjoy our holidays in Italy more often.

In fairness to Ryanair, we have never had cause to complain about their service and they are always the cheapest for us even with all the add-ons.
No, just be thankful
