Questions Asked

Hi, I am trying to find a wine tour in the Lecce area and wondered if anyone could recomend one. The ones I have seen online tend to just go to 2 vineyards and I want to go to at least 4 and smaller vineyards. Many thanks

InternetHi, we have a holdiay home in Italy and have a Mobile Wi-Fi device from Vodaphone which we use for internet. When we arrive in Italy we just go into the store and buy a top up for the device.

Why can you not just email, or better still, call them?

Thanks for the site I will check. I know when we sent our initial emails to the vineyards they never replied so we could not get to see them but once we actually met the people they are now happy to answer emails and organise visits. I am presuming that area will be the same as Piedmont.Once again thanks for your help.

Thanks for the reply. When we did our first wine tour in Piedmont the company that did the tour also took us to a few smaller vineyards who they knew about or were friends. This was great as we saw both the big companies and the smaller family run vineyards. These smaller vineyards have now become our friends and we go to see them every year. I am trying to find this first contact and thought if anyone lived in or near this area they could help.

We did a wine tour a few years ago with an American and his wife who do wine and I think cooking classes, they might be able to help you. Their website is travellanghe.com.

Thanks for the help unfortunately the boys although they have run few marathons are not members of a running club in the UK. What do you mean by 'have a runcard'?

Thanks modicasa for your reply. I have looked at the website and cant seem to find the form to download. I get a great explantion of what to do but not the form. Do you have the link for the form? It also says that I can apply at a Consular, which is what we did in the US but again no link to a form.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately where we live to top up our internet we have to show our CF. Also unless you are part of a running club you need to have a CF to enter the Milan Marathon.

I would be very careful at the moment with your insurance and how you deal with your accident. My son was driving and his MOT had run out so as far as his insurance was concerned he was not insured,  he then got points on his UK licence for not having an MOT and not being insured.

I live in Holland so when I come to Italy I top up my mobile wifi. Last year I purchased 10gb then when that ran out, we forgot to change the settings on our phone, they would only let us buy another 5gb that month. This year we purchased 10gb and when that ran out they sold us another 10gb. Well that is what they told us but it was actually 5gb. Apparently with Vodaphone you are very restricted how much you can top up.
