BANK ACCOUNTS … Advice on best and cheapest ( charges) bank accounts for Italy. Had a BPER account they were charging me €17 every couple of months just to have a debit card 😳. Also about about saving accounts any thoughts.

Driveway.. Looking for a company that would work in Celano, Abruzzo that does finshed concrete or stamped concrete. This appears to be a good way to finish your drive without the expense of tiling.

Looking at best deal to get a phone line in our house in Abruzzo. Really only needing Internet so we can get British TV. Unless someone has any good ideas on how to get internet without a phone line ?!? Thanks for any advice :-)

We used the estate agent in the area that we were looking... One thing is try and get a good lawyer that speaks both English and Italian. Someone on here will know doubt be able to recommend one. Abruzzo is a lovely place with lovely people. My mother in law has had a house there for 30 years plus and goes 3 times a year and has never been broken into to or had any probs. We purchased our 'renovation ' in 2011 and also have had no problem. Getting friendly with the neighbours is a must we have wonderful neighbour who check in on our house when we are not there.... All the very best in your search :-))))

I know old post but can someone advise I have been told that the law changed again and a prima case doesn't pay emu tax. Can anyone tell me if this is right and is there anywhere online that you can work out what to pay if not right? Many thanks for any help

Go to website. Pagine gialle in English. - google it. Then you will find lots of shops selling hopefully what your looking for. I was looking for modern and got my kitchen from mondo convienza. They were a good price and fitting was good to. I also went to ikea. Good luck
