The general state of the roads in Italy is good, even the mountain roads are relatively easy to handle. If that van is strong and functional I can't think of any troubles for such a trip. I've been to Italy with a roadtrek class b five years ago, I don't think things changed much since then.
It looks really nice but I wish you shared more images with the inside of the caravan. I am currently checking for possible offers on Roadtrek motorhomes and I love the price over quality on your caravan. It will be a tough decision to make... Please let us know if it's still available!
I don't know if they have tool hire shops but I do know one can find tools to rent from construction contractors. That's how we did when we needed tools. Construction contractors are pretty much easy to find in any region of Italy. We even payed online through our easysaver for it.
I would also go for the Internet Yellow Pages it's a very relevant source of information and the online version is always up to date. It's so much better than the traditional paper Yellow Pages.
I hope you found the support you needed to solve this problem and I am curious to know how it ended. There must be a law that protects the rights of the landlords and tenants, after all this is a business, and some regulations need to apply here. I know one can have landlords insurance, based on the same principles I am sure there's also tenants insurance. This kind abuses shouldn't be allowed by the law.

Sooner or latter the flood will affect those people and that's when we'll realize the gravity of the issue. All those people probably have above average home insurance quotes...
The best way to keep a house clean and mold free is without doubt controlling the humidity and the temperature of the house. After Maryland water damage fixed the humidity problems inside my house I was sorry I waited so long to call for help. Water damage and mold are a serious matter specially when you have toddlers in the house.
