Oops 2nd try. Does anyone have any knowledge of any yoga classes in any areas 30/40 mins from Sarnano (Le Marche) - during daytime or evenings? Thanks.
I wonder if anyone has experience of getting BBC 1 (and preferably other BBC channels as well) in Le Marche? I have been advised that we can do this via an Astra 2D satellite. Over a year ago I discussed this with an installer who assured me this would be fine and we would need a normal sized satellite dish.
I am new to this forum but have been going to Le marches all my life. I have some experience with my property over the last ten years and have built apartments at Borgo Della Nave in Campofilone, near Porto San Giorgio.
I hope to be able to contribute this experience to other forum members and also draw on experiences that you have.
We have a 'community' of semi feral cats living around us. One of them gave birth to four kittens last year on our doorstep and have pretty much stayed around since. We (and the neighbours) leave out titbits for for the community and since the kittens were weaned we have been putting out food for them. They live outside, and we managed to find a home for one of the kittens (thanks to Rob and Angie!).
Hi does anyone have experience of a dentist in Le Marche area, preferably English speaking. Someone gave the the name of one near Porto San Giorgio but all I'm getting is an engaged tone - they may be on holiday I suppose. Have broken a tooth and need to do something pretty soon... and I hate going to the dentist... Thanks in anticipation... Jo
If you missed the fantastic La Quintana medieval festival in Ascoli Piceno, Le Marche in July then you have another chance to see it on 2 August. There will be a medieval procession with each quarter dressing in 15th Century costumes during the day and the jousting in the evening at the stadium.
If you haven't been to La Quintana before then make sure you go along - you can get more details on the La Quintana festival in Ascoli Piceno.
Any Donovan fans out there will be glad to know that he's in Le Marche this month for the final evening of the Musicultura festival 2009 which will be held at the amazing sferisterio arena in Macerata. There's a nice video clip of last years 16 finalists from the festival which gives you an idea of the type of talent on display at the festival.
