If you have an iPhone the Uffizi Gallery can be literally at your fingertips from today.
The official Uffizi iPhone application allows you to visit the Museum virtually, find out about all the masterpieces it contains and always have images of your favourite Uffizi paintings with you. There are also maps, information about opening times so that you can plan a real visit and news about the Gallery.
The application is unique in that it has been authorised by the Monuments and Fine Arts Service of the City of Florence and the Uffizi Gallery itself. It was developed by Parallelo and the text was written by the Uffizi’s art experts . The application comes in Italian and English and is free. You can download it here.
