Hi Derrygirl,

Good luck with your planning. That topic has been covered a few times on these forums before - some in the very recent past. If you haven't alreasy you should do a search it will turn them up.

Hi,
I selected for you wedding planner in Tuscany which you can enquire through this link.
Hope you'll find someone able to help you with all documents and venues.

Please, check the Italy Mag forums as well to find out personal experiences and opinions:

You can find in this section of ITALY Magazine website
Dream Italian Weddings & Honeymoons stories about other couples who have chosen Italy as a special wedding location.

Good luck!

And if I may be so bold, when you're researching a wedding planner ask them directly about their commissions policy. If they charge vendors that they employ a commission, there's an obvious conflict of interest (i.e. they could be more interested in getting you to use certain suppliers - even if they're not the best ones for you - because they'll pocket more cash). This is strictly forbidden by almost all professional wedding planner organizations but strangely, it's still quite common in Italy. At least if you choose a planner that operates this way, you'll know where you stand and what the risks are.

We don't work with many planners but there are some genuinely hard-working people out there who will do their best for you and not for themselves.

Hi there, I have been working as a photographer with Justine Stevens who organises all the paperwork and also does wedding planning in Tuscany. She is based in Sansepolcro in eastern Tuscany but may be able to help you get organised in Florence.
