Hello - after 40 years, coming back to

Hello - after 40 years, coming back to Italy!  After a cruise from Rome to Venice, we'll have a car and 9 days to get back to Rome.  Was thinking Lake Como, Lake Maggiore, Cinque Terre, then hill villages around Siena.Perhaps too audacious?Would love suggestions from readers noting GEMS (spectacular places!) you've been to along these routes.  GRAZIE !!
