Hello, I just need some help with my upcoming holiday!So i'm an Italian living in the UK and I am flying to dubai next week with my italian passport. However, on my passport it states: "this passport is valid for all member Countries of the European Union. It's a bit strange because it states that its only valid within the EU but it doesnt say that its not valid outside of the EU. However, it doesn't say that you can't go outside of the EU with it, so its just a bit confusing. I used this same exact passport to go to dubai last year, they eventually let me through passport control, but at the beginning they didn't want to let me fly outside of the EU because of what it says on the passport. They let me through once they contacted Dubai immigration and said that it was alright for me to fly. So now i am a bit scared to use the same passport again and have the same issues. Obviously, now I have a Dubai stamp on my passport which should help with the situation but I am still scared. I have had this passport since 2008 and it doesn't expire until the end of next year, I understand that the new italian passports have different statements on them BUT i don't have enough time to change my passport now.
